New Movie Role in “Father of Invention”

I am so happy to announce that Virginia has a new movie role. She will star opposite Kevin Spacey as his ex-wife Lorainne  in the comedy “Father of Invention.”

The movie will be produced by Trigger Street Prods.’ Spacey and Dana Brunetti plus Jonathan Krane and Ken Barbet. Trent Cooper directs from a script he wrote with Krane and Nichole Beatty. Scott Lumpkin exec produces. Lensing is under way.

“Father of Invention” centers on a humble inventor-turned-egomaniacal billionaire who loses it all when one of his inventions goes horribly awry. After eight years in federal prison, he returns to discover his ex-wife (Virginia’s role) has spent his fortune and remarried.

Camilla Belle, Heather Graham, Craig Robison and Johnny Knoxville also star.

In other news but same topic about roles, Virginia no longer appearing in the movie ‘Amelia’ as Dorothy Binney Putnam. She says her character was left on the cutting room floor plus she really enjoyed filming scenes for the movie and she is ready for her next flick!!

New project for Virginia, “The Bell Jar”

Last year, Virginia opened her own production company called “Title IX Productions” and the first film she’s going to produce for her company is “The Bell Jar”, an adaption of Sylvia Plath’s autobiographical fiction novel starring Julia Stiles as a young writer Esther Greenwood.

The company has previously developed first into the production of a documentary, “I Know a Woman Like That“, directed by Virginia’s talented mother Elaine, a writer, and spotlighting a series of remarkable women between the ages of 64 and 94, a testament to age increasing wisdom. Featuring women including Rita Moreno and Lauren Hutton.

The production will start to film on July in upstate New York. Virginia is gonna play a small role but I will post more as soon as I get more infomation.
