New Movie Role in “Father of Invention”

I am so happy to announce that Virginia has a new movie role. She will star opposite Kevin Spacey as his ex-wife Lorainne  in the comedy “Father of Invention.”

The movie will be produced by Trigger Street Prods.’ Spacey and Dana Brunetti plus Jonathan Krane and Ken Barbet. Trent Cooper directs from a script he wrote with Krane and Nichole Beatty. Scott Lumpkin exec produces. Lensing is under way.

“Father of Invention” centers on a humble inventor-turned-egomaniacal billionaire who loses it all when one of his inventions goes horribly awry. After eight years in federal prison, he returns to discover his ex-wife (Virginia’s role) has spent his fortune and remarried.

Camilla Belle, Heather Graham, Craig Robison and Johnny Knoxville also star.

In other news but same topic about roles, Virginia no longer appearing in the movie ‘Amelia’ as Dorothy Binney Putnam. She says her character was left on the cutting room floor plus she really enjoyed filming scenes for the movie and she is ready for her next flick!!

“The Haunting in Connecticut” (Two-Disc Special Edition)

On July 14, 2009, Lionsgate Home Entertainment will release The Haunting in Connecticut on DVD, Two-Disc DVD and Blu-ray.

The movie stars Virginia Madsen and revolves around the tale of a family’s move to Connecticut for the sake of their young boy with cancer. When malicious supernatural acts begin occurring within their new confinements, they call on the Catholic Church to check out the haunting that has partaken in their new domicile, a former mortuary.

It will contain bonus materials and extra features, and the DVD will be available for the MSRP (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price) of $29.95, while the Two-Disc Special Edition will run at the MSRP of $34.98. The Blu-ray will cost $39.99.

The Haunting in Connecticut releases will feature the following bonus materials:
