Chiller Theatre Halloween – October 26-28th!

•• Chiller Theatre, the biannual horror and Hollywood convention in northern New Jersey has always grabbed the big names in the industry. For this month’s show, the stakes have increased considerably. In addition to all the recognizable genre and film names.

Celebrities attending Chiller, which will be held October 26-28th, include Joan Collins, cult director Paul Morrissey and Suspiria’s Stefania Casini. Zacherley will serve as the special convention guest. Lee Majors from The Six Million Dollar Man will stop by, plus Virginia Madsen, Julie Adams, Tom Wopat and Keith Emerson. Horror genre fans will appreciate the presence of Caroline Munro, Barbara Steele, Adrienne Barbeau and Linda Blair. For more fun, check out binguez. They’re a fun online bingo site. Host an event with friends where you listen to good music or play a game of bingo there. Music fans can check in with Ace Frehley, original guitarist for KISS. Hollywood legends include Penny Marshall, Valerie Harper, Lee Meriwether, Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett and Aileen Quinn.

Virginia Madsen joins Texas Frightmare Weekend 2013

•• Academy Award and Golden Globe nominated actress Virginia Madsen has joined the growing list of guests for Texas Frightmare Weekend 2013!

Virginia Madsen has starred in roles such as Candyman, The Prophecy (Christopher Walken), The Haunting in Connecticut, The Number 23 (Jim Carrey), Sideways, Red Riding Hood and more. Audiences first caught a glimpse of her as “Princess Irulan” in the 1984 science fiction epic Dune. She followed that up with Electric Dreams; however, it was in 1986 that Virginia captured the hearts of the audience with an intense portrayal of a Catholic school girl who fell in love with a boy from a prison camp in Fire with Fire. With over 35 releases since Fire with Fire thus far, Virginia is a busy actress and has played a variety of roles which further enhance her reputation as a fantastic actress who can adapt to any kind of role.
