As you all know Virginia’s birthday is coming up soon, as in less two months, September 11, so to pay tribute to her and celebrate her upcoming birthday, I decided to lauch her first birthday project.

This birthday project is for all her fans from all around the world to gather together, make a collective and creative effort to wish Virginia a very happy birthday. We are going to put together an online Birthday Project that consists of your videos, letters, poetry, fanarts and photographs inspired by Virginia Madsen, with the only purpose to to give something in return for all entertainment that she has provided us throughout the years, so let’s show Virginia how much we love her!!  Remember the most important is being creative and speak from the heart. ♥♥

The Haunting in Connecticut scares up sales!!

Lionsgate’s $55.3 million-grossing horror film The Haunting in Connecticut starring Virginia Madsen debuted as the No. 1 DVD and Blu-ray Disc seller this week, according to Rentrak. The rental charts, however, were still dominated by Summit Home Entertainment’s Knowing, which topped the DVD and Blu-ray rental charts.

New Movie Role in “Father of Invention”

I am so happy to announce that Virginia has a new movie role. She will star opposite Kevin Spacey as his ex-wife Lorainne  in the comedy “Father of Invention.”

The movie will be produced by Trigger Street Prods.’ Spacey and Dana Brunetti plus Jonathan Krane and Ken Barbet. Trent Cooper directs from a script he wrote with Krane and Nichole Beatty. Scott Lumpkin exec produces. Lensing is under way.

“Father of Invention” centers on a humble inventor-turned-egomaniacal billionaire who loses it all when one of his inventions goes horribly awry. After eight years in federal prison, he returns to discover his ex-wife (Virginia’s role) has spent his fortune and remarried.

Camilla Belle, Heather Graham, Craig Robison and Johnny Knoxville also star.

In other news but same topic about roles, Virginia no longer appearing in the movie ‘Amelia’ as Dorothy Binney Putnam. She says her character was left on the cutting room floor plus she really enjoyed filming scenes for the movie and she is ready for her next flick!!
