•• In addition to the nearly 200 feature films, shorts and music videos we’ll be screening, it wouldn’t be the LA Film Fest without our signature programs such as our annual Coffee Talks for Directors, Actors, Composers and Screenwriters. This year’s panelists feature Iron Man 3 director Shane Black and screenwriter Drew Pearce, actors Virginia Madsen, Joe Manganiello and Josh Henderson and composer Atticus Ross.
The Festival will also feature a host of other panels and events, including KCRW’s The Treatment at the Los Angeles Film Festival with Host/Film Independent at LACMA Curator Elvis Mitchell and filmmaker Justin Lin, a celebration of the Project Involve 20th anniversary which will include the world premiere of Life of a King, starring Cuba Gooding Jr., a series of Diversity Speaks Panels an array of topics to further promote inclusivity in the industry and more. Coffee Talks for festival-goers interested in the creative process behind filmmaking, the LA Film Fest’s annual “Coffee Talks” are a must-attend. The four sessions held over the course of Sunday, June 16 feature Directors, Actors, Composers and Screenwriters engaging in uncensored and unexpected conversations about their craft.
