CTV picks up ABC’s Scoundrels

Canadian broadcaster CTV has picked up the ABC summer dramedy “Scoundrels” for its primetime schedule.

The new hour-long series SCOUNDRELS premieres Sunday, June 20 at 9 p.m. ET on CTV. A humorous look at a family of small-time criminals who try to turn their lives around after their father is sent to prison, SCOUNDRELS stars Academy Award and Golden Globe nominee Virginia Madsen (Sideways, The Astronaut Farmer) as matriarch Cheryl West and Toronto-native David James Elliott (CLOSE TO HOME) as Wolfgang “Wolf” West. Following broadcasts on CTV, SCOUNDRELS will also be available on demand on the CTV Video Player at CTV.ca.

Based on the New Zealand hit series OUTRAGEOUS FORTUNE, SCOUNDRELS also stars Patrick Flueger (THE 4400) as Logan West and twin brother Calvin “Cal” West; Leven Rambin (GREY’S ANATOMY) as Heather West; Vanessa Marano (GILMORE GIRLS) as Hope West; and Carlos Bernard (24) as Sergeant Mack.
